Who we are

Roland Rox is an independent, DIY, internet radio station where we broadcast around the world, all the forgotten genres.. Your host, Eric Roland, is an avid vinyl collector, musician and someone who lived through many of the eras and genres we address in the show.

What we do

At the Roland Rox Radio Show we strive to bring you the best alternative music from the past. We focus on all the genres like indie, ska, punk, shoegaze, new wave, synth pop etc. We bring you a great selection of music in every show with interesting commentary on the history, evolution and fall of the specific bands and genres. We also conduct interviews with the artists and other influencial people who were there in the scene at the time when it was all going down.

All the music is played and mixed live on original vinyl from the era. If the original vinyl is not available we may use the original CD or other original media. It is our goal to bring you the music exactly as it was supposed to sound on the media and equipment of the day.
